Message from the CEO: 'Tis the Season for Gratitude

There is a lot to love about the holiday season. Good food, celebrations with family and friends, and festive décor make this time of year particularly special.

One of my favorite ways to spend the holidays is to intentionally slow down and show gratitude to those who have impacted my life, and that leads me to you. I want to take a moment to express how grateful I am for you and every member of the South Carolina Federal family.

I am continuously humbled and inspired by our members' loyalty, and commitment to helping our credit union grow and our communities thrive.

Thank you for banking with a local, member-owned financial institution and allowing us to show you the credit union difference every day. The trust you place in us when you put your personal, family, and business accounts in our hands is not something we take lightly. Helping you establish and maintain your financial wellbeing is not only our privilege, it is our responsibility.

We are grateful each time you choose us for your important financial milestones whether it's buying your first home, opening a savings account for your children or grandchildren, planning for retirement, or any of life's big and small moments.

When you share your positive experiences and feedback with us online and vote for us in local "Best Of" awards, it serves as a great reminder that what we do for you matters. We appreciate your loyalty and willingness to share your South Carolina Federal experiences with your friends, family, and neighbors.

Our commitment to you extends beyond providing financial services. We commit to keeping your finances safe and sound, giving back to the communities in which you live and work, and serving you with kindness, care, and professionalism.

No matter how long you have been a member, we hope you know that you are not just a number. Your membership is a shared commitment to a brighter financial future.

Thank you for your membership. I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season and a happy and prosperous New Year.

With gratitude,

Scott Woods, President and CEO of South Carolina Federal
