Business Account Appointments

​​​​​​​How to Make an Appointment:
  1. Select an appointment type.
  2. Pick a location.
  3. Choose a date and time.
  4. Complete a short form and choose whether you'd like to meet in person or by phone.
To make things easier, most appointment types can be scheduled by phone or in person. The only exception is the Existing Business Account appointment type, which requires an in‑branch visit.

Required Documents

All business entities will be required to provide information and documentation for the controlling party and for all owners of the business. A controlling party is an individual with significant responsibility for managing the legal entity.

Businesses that open an account using an EIN will need to provide proof/verification of the EIN by presenting the IRS Letter CP575 or 147C.

Information required:
  • Full name
  • Physical address
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Phone number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Driver’s license state
  • Percentage of ownership, if applicable
  • Primary occupation, if also an owner of the business
  • If the controlling party is not present at account opening, please provide a copy of their driver’s license or other ID card. If you have any questions, please contact us.
If a business is unable to provide the appropriate documents, an account cannot be opened.  
Type of Entity Forms of Identification
Sole Proprietorship

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Any valid (not expired) business or similar license/permit issued by local or state authorities/governing body
  • Previous or current year tax return with Schedule C
LLC (Limited Liability Company)

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Articles or Certificate of Organization filed with the Secretary of State’s Office
  • Previous or current year corporate tax return
LLP (Limited Liability Partnership)

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Certification of Limited Partnership filed with the Secretary of State’s Office
  • Previous or current year tax return with Schedule K-1
Partnership

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Partnership Agreement (signed by all partners)
  • Previous or current year tax return with Schedule K-1
Corporation

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Articles or Certificate of Incorporation filed with the Secretary of State’s Office
  • Previous or current year corporate tax return
Non-profit Corporation

Current picture ID and one of the following:

  • Articles or Certificate of Incorporation filed with the Secretary of State’s Office
  • Previous or current year corporate tax return
Organization or Association

Current picture ID and and the following:

  • Current/recent meeting minutes, bylaws, or similar documentation, which lists the names of the organization’s officers or authorized representatives

Yes! To update date and time, just use the "modify" link in your confirmation email. For any other changes, please cancel your existing appointment and make a new one.

Yes. We want to make sure you have an outstanding experience with your appointment. To do that, we ask that appointments are scheduled at least one hour in advance to give our representatives an opportunity to prepare for your appointment. If your need is more urgent, please call us or visit any one of our Financial Centers and we would be happy to help you. Members without an appointment are served on a first-come first-served basis.

You will receive an email confirmation. 

For each of our appointments, we block out 30 minutes or an hour especially for you. Most appointments last 30-45 minutes.
