Forbes Names South Carolina Federal One of the Best Credit Unions in SC

For the third consecutive year, South Carolina Federal Credit Union has been named one of the best credit unions in the state by Forbes. Out of the 413 financial institutions that were recognized nationwide, we are proud to be featured on this prestigious list.

Forbes' list of best credit unions is based on extensive evaluations from two key sources: an independent survey of approximately 26,000 U.S. residents, and publicly available reviews and ratings.

Survey participants rated the financial institutions in the following areas: trust, financial advice, branch services, customer service, digital services, and transparency. South Carolina Federal excelled in overall satisfaction, trust, and customer service, showcasing our dedication to providing exceptional experiences to you, our members.

In addition to the survey, publicly available reviews and ratings posted between February 2022 and March 2025 were analyzed to determine the best financial institutions. This thorough evaluation process ensures that the organizations recognized provide exceptional financial products and consistently deliver best-in-class service.

The feedback we receive from surveys and Google reviews plays a crucial role in the evaluation process. We are proud that all of our financial centers have a 4.1-star rating or higher on Google.
