Message from the CEO: Member Give Week
At South Carolina Federal, giving back to the communities we call home is an important part of who we are. One of the ways we give back is through the South Carolina Federal Credit Union Foundation, which was founded in 2013 to help meet critical needs in the communities we serve.
Since its founding, members have asked how they can be part of the work the Foundation is doing across South Carolina. In 2025, we hosted our inaugural Member Give Day, where we invited members to donate to the Foundation to fund grants for local charities. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to award $5,000 grants to the following organizations:
This year, we are hoping to make an even bigger impact by hosting Member Give Week, which will take place October 5–9.
During Member Give Week, South Carolina Federal will match every dollar donated up to $25,000. That means your generosity will go twice as far, helping us fund more grants for charities that work to:
- Fight hunger and food insecurity
- Ensure children receive quality medical care
- Provide relief in times of crisis
- Advance Alzheimer’s research and support
- Support education and mentorship of underserved youth
