Spend with Purpose: Support Literacy Through Perfect ¢ents
At South Carolina Federal Credit Union, “people helping people” is more than a motto. It guides how we show up for the communities we serve. From local sponsorships to hands-on volunteer work, we are committed to supporting efforts that make a meaningful difference across South Carolina.
One way we support our communities is through our annual perfect ¢ents initiative. Since launching in 2023, the program has helped local nonprofits make a greater impact. This year, perfect ¢ents will support organizations dedicated to improving literacy and reading skills amongst children and adults.
By simply using your South Carolina Federal Mastercard® debit or credit card online or in-store from August 1 - August 31, we will donate two cents per transaction (up to $35,000) to seven nonprofits.
With your help, each of these seven organizations will receive $5,000:
Donations may be used for books, curriculum supplies, teacher training, technology, transportation, and other resources. Whether you are buying a cup of coffee, filling your gas tank or purchasing groceries, each transaction helps move us closer to our goal of donating $35,000.
Support our mission to uplift our communities. Together, we can make a difference!
