Message from the CEO: System Upgrade Now Complete

In 2025, one of the most impactful changes for SC Federal and you - our members - has been our System Upgrade. In March, we updated many of the systems we use to maintain and service your accounts, including Online and Mobile Banking. Now that the upgrade is complete, I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated this transition.
We recognize that any change to how you manage your finances can have significant impacts, and that new tools and programs take time to learn. In the weeks leading up to the upgrade, you utilized the resources we sent to ensure you were able to navigate limitations to system access and were prepared for changes to your account. We are confident that your thoughtful questions, insightful conversations, and ultimately your preparation played a key role in our success.
Prior to the upgrade, we made purposeful decisions to ensure you had access to your money and your credit union throughout the System Upgrade. We waived fees, posted deposits early, and opened our Contact Center throughout the weekend to answer questions and provide updates on service availability. We received significantly fewer calls than anticipated, which is a direct reflection of how diligently you planned and prepared.
After the upgrade was complete, we opened our systems up for full use. We experienced a record number of successful Online and Mobile Banking log-ins. Members familiarized themselves with the new interface and conducted transactions immediately. Some members reached out in need of assistance and experienced delays in reaching our Contact Center or longer than usual wait times in the financial centers. We apologize for extended wait times and any challenges you faced connecting with us, and we are grateful for how kind and accommodating you were as you waited for help. We are extremely thankful for how our members handled the transition and are proud of our dedicated staff.
Over the past few weeks, we have received some great compliments about our new Online and Mobile Banking platform, and many kind notes about the help employees provided during and after the upgrade. We have also garnered some constructive feedback about the changes we deployed, including many great suggestions for features you would like to see in the future. We are reviewing all of the feedback and suggestions members provided, and are working to incorporate many of them in an effort to continue delivering superior service and a terrific banking experience through your channel of choice.

We are glad to be settling back in to business as usual as we have a lot to look forward to over the next few months: hosting a community celebration at our new Thornblade Financial Center in April, announcing this year's scholarship winners in May, and opening our Myers Road Financial Center in early summer.
