We are now accepting applications for our 2021 scholarship program through February 3.

You can review the 2021 scholarship requirements here.

For the application, you'll be asked to write an essay (500 words or less) on how your education will enable you to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of South Carolinians.

You'll also need to have the following items ready:

  1. Contact information for a reference (teacher or counselor at your current school) – first name, last name, and email address.
    • The form is contained within the scholarship application and will ask the applicant to provide the contact information for a recommender. The recommender will then go into the system and evaluate the applicant.
    • The recommender's evaluation and comments will remain confidential, and will not be shared with the applicant.
  2. A transcript from your current school
  3. A recent photo of yourself to be used on scfederal.org

The deadline for applications is February 3, and winners will be announced in April.
