(N. Charleston, S.C.) – 9/8/2021 – Meg Grier, CFS* Investment Operations Program Manager at South Carolina Federal Credit Union, was selected by the Charleston Regional Business Journal for the 2021 Class of Forty Under 40.

The Forty Under 40 program honors the top 40 business professionals across the Charleston region who have excelled in their chosen profession and in service to their community.

Grier has been part of the investment team since 2012. Under her leadership, South Carolina Federal Investment Solutions, through CFS*, has grown significantly. Grier has championed incorporating financial education opportunities for members into the investment program. She has led the charge on introducing new products and services designed to help members build smart savings habits, understand investment strategies and position themselves for long-term financial success.

Her work has helped the credit union earn three Impact Awards, which recognize programs that have produced productive and impactful campaigns through creative and resourceful marketing.

Grier is a College of Charleston alumna and a member of the 2021 Leadership Charleston class. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Coastal South Carolina and is closely involved with the National Kidney Foundation.

“Our investments program wouldn't be where it is today without Meg's determination, creativity and member-first mentality,” said Bonnie Ciuffo, President of SCF Solutions. "Her work ethic is only matched by her passion for giving back to her community. I could not think of a more deserving individual for the Forty Under 40 accolade!"

For more than two decades, the Business Journal has selected 40 elite individuals who have gone on to start companies, lead community efforts for positive change and who have made an impact that reaches far beyond the Forty Under 40 honor.

This year’s class will be recognized at special Forty Under 40 event on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the world-renowned Charleston Gaillard Center from 6-8 p.m.
