Phishing Scam American Express

We were notified of a recent Phishing scam dealing with Xerox. The fraudulent email looks like it is being sent from American Express with the subject as: American Express Notification-Your transaction is aborted. This is a fraudulent attempt to capture member data.

Below is a copy of the fake email. Do Not click on any of the links!

Your October 29, 2012 Money Transfer is Aborted


Account Ending:

Your American Express Card account transfer cancelled 10/29/2012 with amount of 9,866.50 USD.

Transaction Time: October 29, 2012 at 2:24 PM

Payment Due Date: Tue, Nov 6, 2012
