REX Venture

The North Carolina Department of Justice has issued an alert on REX Venture.  According to the Securities Exchange Commission, the company was “engaged in unregistered sale of securities.”

South Carolina Federal Credit Union cannot put a stop on a cashier’s check. 

The North Carolina Department of Justice is directing people who are part of Zeekler to contact the receiver appointed by the court to handle the company’s assets:  http://zeekrewardsreceivership.com/, and an email address, info@ZeekRewardsReceivership.com.  Consumers should contact the receiver or visit the receiver's website for the latest information on the claims process.

The North Carolina Department of Justice website states:  “If someone offers you the opportunity to buy into a business, remember:
• Be skeptical of high earnings claims.
• Be especially cautious if the focus is on recruiting new members and selling products or services to them as they join.
• Check out the company with our office and the Better Business Bureau. 
• You can contact the NC Department of Justice Consumer Protection Division at 1-877-5-NO-SCAM or ncdoj.gov.
