Credit Union CEO Re-Elected to CSU Board

(N. CHARLESTON, S.C.) – March 10, 2011 –R. Scott Woods, CPA, President and CEO of South Carolina Federal Credit Union, has been re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Charleston Southern University.
“We are pleased that Scott Woods will be serving as Chairman of our Board of Trustees for a second year term," said Dr. Jairy C. Hunter, Jr., President of Charleston Southern University. "Scott is a visionary leader with extensive business experience, which is vitally needed for our organization during these challenging times.”
Woods has served on the CSU Board since 2007 and as Chairman since 2010. His responsibilities include presiding over Board meetings and representing the Board at campus functions.
