Wednesday, June 06, 2012

(CHARLESTON, S.C.) – June 6, 2012 – Charleston Southern University presented Troy Hall, Chief Operations Officer of South Carolina Federal Credit Union, with the Outstanding MBA Student of the Year Award.

Hall obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. Hall is pursuing his Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the impact of Generational Preferences or genernomics™ at Regent University.

“Combining my credit union experience, marketing background and most recent studies in leadership has offered me a fresh perspective that I enjoy sharing with other credit union professionals,” said Troy Hall. “Every organization is or soon will be facing a generational shift, both internally and externally, so I’ve made it a personal mission to wake our industry up to these changes.”

Hall will speak at the Credit Union Executive Society Management School on June 15. He will present on Genernomics™, Every Day is Bank Transfer Day™ and how credit unions can move forward in this economy.

Hall recently spoke at the THINK 12 Conference for CO-OP Financial Services. His presentation, Growth Through Marketing, conceptualizes segmented marketing based on generational preferences. The South Carolina Credit Union League invited Troy to speak at their Annual Meeting this year to discuss the genesis of Every Day is Bank Transfer Day™. Hall has also presented at other credit unions and industry organizations on a variety of topics.

Hall is involved with the Charleston Chapter of Credit Unions and is a member of the Credit Union Executive Society Operations Experts Panel and an eMentor with Credit Union Times. Hall is also the co-host for “Radiofreecu” a blog-talk radio show that serves credit union professionals across the United States.
