South Carolina Federal Credit Unions Collect for Million Meal Mission

(CHARLESTON, S.C.) – December 9, 2013 – Beginning today, through December 31, Charleston-area South Carolina Federal Credit Union branches are collecting non-perishable canned foods in conjunction with 103.5 WEZL’s TJ’s Million Meal Mission project. The mission benefits Lowcountry Food Bank and aims to provide a million meals to lowcountry residents in 2013.
Each year, South Carolina Federal Credit Union participates in a holiday drive benefiting a local nonprofit organization, with past recipients including Lowcountry Orphan Relief and MUSC Children’s Hospital.
