(N. CHARLESTON, S.C.) – 2/24/14 – Established in late 2013, Innovatus Benefit Solutions™, LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Carolina Federal Credit Union’s Service Organizations (CUSO), headquartered in Charleston, SC.
The CUSO purchased Innova Plan Strategies, founded by Charlotte-based benefits expert, Jim Fede. In early 2014, Fede, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, was named President of the emerging Innovatus brand.
Innovatus creates custom benefit packages including core medical, dental and other voluntary and employer-sponsored benefits plans. The company assesses clients’ current coverage, needs and growth plans to tailor plans with providers such as BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna, AIG, Hartford, Pacific Life, Lincoln National, Wellpath, UHC and Sun Life Financial.
