BofA Overdraft Refund Checks Issued by US Bank Too Thick for ATM

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Recently, Bank of America issued overdraft refund checks in a postcard format. The issuing bank is US Bank and the return addressee is Checking Account Overdraft Administrator.

Some South Carolina Federal Credit Union members have received these checks. It has come to our attention that the checks are too thick to process for deposit in many ATMs. If you receive this type of check and want to conveniently deposit it you may utilize Remote Deposit through one of our smartphone apps. Other deposit options include visiting one of our convenient locations, utilizing the night drop after hours or mailing the check in for deposit.
